Duck Duck Goose with a Ball

Set up

• 2–3 circles of 8–12 sitting children.
• One ball carrier walking outside each circle.

Play

1. 1Walk round: “Duck… Duck… Duck…”
2. 2“GOOSE!” — that child chases.
3. 3Carrier runs round to the empty space.
4. 4Two hands on the ball throughout.
5. 5Swap and go again.

Say

• “Two hands!”
• “Run around the outside!”
• “Find the space!”

Level up

Carry the ball and finish by placing it down as a try in the empty space.

Outside of the circle only — no cutting through.
