Rugby balls, four coloured try lines

Set up

  • One coloured try line on each side of the area.
  • Mini-packs with a ball moving in the middle.

Play

  1. 1PAWS/READY, packs move with the ball.
  2. 2Coach shouts “TRY TIME — BLUE!”
  3. 3Carrier attacks that try line.
  4. 4Ground it with two hands, under control.
  5. 5Reset into the middle.

Say

  • “Keep moving!”
  • “TRY TIME — blue line!”
  • “Ground it — score!”

Level up

Call two colours and let the carrier choose the best line.

30 pups

Give every pack its own colour so 30 children never run at one line.

Safety

No diving — ground it with control.
