Shape Makers

Ages 3–75–7 minutes

Kit

No kit needed (optional cones)

Set up

  • Children spread out, or in groups of 4–6.
  • Optional cones mark each group's area.

Play

  1. 1Call a shape: circle, triangle, line, square.
  2. 2Younger pups make it with their own body.
  3. 3Older pups build it as a group.
  4. 4Check each shape, name a good one.
  5. 5Call the next shape.

Say

  • “Make the shape!”
  • “Work together!”
  • “Can everyone help?”

Level up

Set a short countdown for the group to finish the shape.

30 pups

Groups of 4–6, teacher checks half.

Safety

No climbing on each other.
