- 3Younger children make simple body shapes on their own.
- 4Older children make group shapes together.
- 5Coach walks round, names good ideas, then calls the next shape.

- “Work together!”
- “Can everyone help?”
Stage
Early Years / KS1
This activity is suitable for ages 3–7. Choose a stage to see the coaching guidance for that group.
Individual shapes only — tall, small, wide, curled.
Scale it
30 pups
- Split into groups of roughly 4–6.
- Give each group its own coned area so shapes do not overlap.
- Teacher checks half the groups while the coach checks the other half.
Safety
Stay safe and strong
- No climbing on other children.
- Keep all movements controlled.
Adapt it
